When Danelectro guitars first appeared in 1956, they were an instant hit. Thousands of recordings from the '50s and '60s feature the legendary Danelectro signature sound. Today's Danelectro reissues feature the same Lipstick tube Alnico pickups, dual stacked tone and volume controls, semi-hollow body, great playability, and cool retro colors. Plus, all new Danelectro's have an adjustable truss rod, hidden in the heel of the neck to preserve the original headstock look. |
