The Internet's newest guitar magazine is PopGuitar.com, which is edited by guitarist and transcriber John Tapella, and guitarist and music journalist Joe Matera.

PopGuitar.com will be available as a paid subscription, and includes lessons, chord advice, music downloads, interviews, articles, links to many great guitar sites, and more.

We're giving away two first issues of PopGuitar, and all you need to do is answer one amazingly simple question.

Who are the two editors of the new PopGuitar magazine?

Please note that on 1/17/01, this contest is over. Winners announced next month.

November Winner (not)

Our question was:
In what year was the first production model of the Steinberger bass introduced?

This question drew a lot of controversy, with many well-documented answers. So we figured the best way to settle this was to call Ned Steinberger. Ned says, "The date is 1980."

We had lots of answers for 1981 and 1979, but no one came up with with 1980.

For the first time ever . . . no winner :-(
