MP3 Picks

Robert M. Koenigsberg of California has just posted four songs on MP3. These songs are great pop-oriented tunes with a retro feel, all composed and performed by Robert M. Koenigsberg. One of Robert's songs has hit #1 on one of the Internet radio stations! "I'm Not Him" "A Sliver of Room" "My One Real Love" "Brought Us Back Alive" Find Robert's songs at Robert M. Koenigsberg MP3s ekis http://www.gemm.com/ekis/ Jay Ekis' Green Mountain Irie Funk band from Vermont. In addition to "Movin' in Time," four new live MP3s have been added to the ekis site.

Bob Houlston "His Love" Bob Houlston in the UK has posted an MP3 which demonstrates the way to make a 6-string guitar sound like a 12-string. Bob says, "The chiming rhythm guitar replicates early Byrds 12-string sound on a 6-string guitar, by replacing the 3rd string G with a top E string tuned an octave above regular G. Chords are enhanced with slight pitch shift or chorus." Also, check out the rest of Bob Houlston's guitar instruction site. Got some good stuff on MP3? Don't keep it a secret, let the world know about it here in the GuitarSam eZine. Send us your MP3 link, and we'll post it in the next issue.
